Where they were when they called us.
BucksMont Decks launched as a focused deck-only brand to win share that the more diversified parent business couldn't. The site was new, the domain had zero authority, and the four target cities were all owned in the map pack by entrenched competitors. We had to build authority and trust from scratch in under 12 months to prove the brand was viable.
What we actually did.
Every step was sequenced to compound: foundations first, traffic engines second, conversion polish third. Here's the order we ran it in.

Built the site from a deck-builder template optimized for trust at first impression: real photo galleries, clear pricing ranges, transparent process, and a 5-minute design-consultation booking flow

Created service+city landing pages for Doylestown, Newtown, New Hope, and Yardley with locally-shot project photos and city-specific permit information

Set up Google Business Profile, populated weekly with project photos, before/afters, and Q&A. Tied review acquisition to project completion via SMS

Rebuilt the citation footprint from zero across 60+ deck-builder and home-services directories

Layered structured data (LocalBusiness, Service, AggregateRating, FAQ) and a long-tail content engine on composite vs. cedar, deck financing, and deck-permit FAQs

Cross-linked from the parent FS Landscaping brand to compound authority faster
Months 1-3, build the foundation
New domain means no authority and no trust. We focused first on technical fundamentals (LCP 1.4s, schema everywhere, internal linking that compounds) and second on the GBP. By month 3 the GBP was outranking the website on every map-relevant search.
Months 4-9, climb the pack
The map pack moved before the organic SERP. Doylestown #3 in month 5, #1 in month 7. Newtown and New Hope followed. Lead volume tripled. The cross-link from FS Landscaping accelerated authority transfer because the topical relevance was perfect.
Year 1, four cities owned
By month 14 BucksMont Decks holds map-pack #1 in all four target cities. Organic traffic is up 220% from launch. The brand is paying for itself with profit to spare, and we're starting to expand into 4 new cities for year 2.
